Terms of Service

Production terms for Death Pile and the authenticated workspace available at https://deathpile.app.

Last updated: August 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Death Pileand the related services, websites, and workflows operated by Lexi ("Lexi," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Lexi provides an authenticated workspace for resale operations. The service may include account sign-in, item-photo uploads, listing research, AI-assisted draft generation, and shared team workflows across web and mobile surfaces.

This release is positioned as an existing-account companion app and B2B workspace for resale operations. It is not a public consumer checkout experience.

2. Eligibility and account use

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or team access.
  • A "Team Owner" is the customer that controls a Team workspace. An "Authorized Team Member" is a person the Team Owner permits to work in that workspace on its behalf.
  • If you sign in through Google, Apple, or another identity provider, your use of that provider remains subject to its own terms and policies.

3. Your content

The Team Owner owns and controls the business records in that Team workspace, including Items, item photos, notes, measurements, Research, drafts, Jobs, and operational history ("Team Data"). When you add or edit Team Data as an Authorized Team Member, you act on the Team Owner's behalf and represent that the Team Owner authorized you to do so. Your act of uploading or editing Team Data does not make it your personal account data.

The Team Owner gives us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, adapt, format, display, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service, sync your workspace, support your team, and generate listing materials on your behalf. We may let our affiliates, contractors, and service providers exercise these rights on our behalf as needed to run the service. This license for stored Team Data ends when permanent Team deletion completes, except for the limited receipt, backup, security, and legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload, share, and use the content you place in the workspace.

Death Pile is for item photos and listing details only. Do not upload faces, IDs, addresses, receipts, payment cards, or other personally identifiable information.

Team Data remains under the Team Owner's control when an Authorized Team Member leaves, loses access, or deletes their individual account. Individual account deletion removes that person's account access, memberships, and personal attribution; it does not delete Team Data. A Team Owner can use the separate permanent Team-deletion flow to delete the Team and all of its managed Team Data.

4. AI-assisted outputs and third-party services

Lexi uses third-party providers for authentication, infrastructure, email delivery, and AI-assisted processing. AI-assisted processing may include Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT/Codex, Flue AI, Pi AI, AutoGPT, and proprietary models. Generated titles, descriptions, tags, research summaries, and other outputs are tools to help your workflow; they may contain mistakes and should be reviewed before publication.

We may also use workspace content and service activity to develop, test, evaluate, and improve Lexi features, internal models, quality systems, workflow automation, and related quality signals while the Team exists, to the extent permitted by the Team Owner's license, our Privacy Policy, and applicable law. Individual member deletion does not terminate that Team license. Permanent Team deletion removes the managed Team Data from those source systems.

Global product or source-quality facts can remain after Team deletion only after Team identifiers, Item identifiers, and Team content are removed. They are not a retained copy of the Team workspace.

You remain responsible for the final accuracy of listings, compliance with marketplace rules, pricing decisions, and any claims you publish.

5. Team and shared-workspace rules

Lexi supports shared workspaces. If you join a team, your item records, generated drafts, and operational history may be visible to other authorized teammates or team admins. Team admins may be able to manage access, update shared content, or remove users.

When an individual member deletes their account, Team-owned item photos, notes, drafts, and operational history remain with the workspace. We remove the departing member's access and structured personal attribution from retained Items, note revisions, Research and Listing Jobs, decision records, support projections, and other managed Team history. Incoming invitations to the departing account are deleted. Pending Team invitations that the departing member created remain valid, but their inviter attribution is removed.

An account that owns a Team cannot be deleted until the Team Owner transfers ownership or explicitly deletes the Team. A multi-member Team must be transferred to another member. A solo Team must be explicitly deleted, or the owner must add a member and transfer ownership. Individual account deletion never deletes or orphans a Team automatically.

Permanent Team deletion is a separate owner-only action. It requires exact Team-name confirmation and deletes the Team's managed Items, photos, notes, drafts, invites, memberships, and workspace operational records. Team support/decision records and identifiable Team references in internal quality queues are also removed. New Team work is frozen and active Listing and Research jobs must finish before destructive deletion begins. It does not automatically delete the Team Owner's individual account.

We retain a minimized record of an individual or Team deletion request and its outcome for 24 months only to document and verify compliance. We do not retain deleted Team content as part of that receipt. See the Privacy Policy for the retained fields and expiration details.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not use Lexi for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activity.
  • Do not upload or share objectionable content or behavior, including harassment, hate, sexual content, threats, or violence.
  • Do not interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or attempt unauthorized access to another user's workspace.
  • Do not upload content you do not have permission to use or share.
  • Do not upload personally identifiable information through item photos, notes, measurements, or voice input.
  • Do not rely on Lexi outputs as a substitute for your own review of listing quality, pricing, or marketplace compliance.

7. Billing posture for this release

The current website and mobile release are configured as existing-account companion surfaces. They do not expose a public website checkout flow or in-app purchase path as part of this release.

If paid access, invoicing, or subscription terms are introduced through a separate order, reseller arrangement, or later release, those commercial terms will govern that transaction in addition to these Terms.

8. Availability, changes, and termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if we believe a user or team has violated these Terms, created security risk, or misused the platform.

You can stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through available product flows or support.

9. Disclaimer and limitation

Lexi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here. We are not responsible for lost profits, indirect damages, or marketplace actions resulting from content you choose to publish using the service.
