Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Death Pile, Ghoulia, and supported resale workflows.

Hi, I'm Ghoulia, your AI assistant!
How does Death Pile work?
Take photos of your item, including tags, measurements, and any flaws. You can also add notes if needed. Ghoulia researches the item, asks for approval, and then generates listing details including the title, description, item specifics, categories, tags, and a marketplace-ready draft for you to review before posting.
How much time does Death Pile save?
Death Pile is designed to remove much of the repetitive research and listing creation work: title writing, descriptions, item specifics, categories, tags, and marketplace-ready draft setup. The exact time saved depends on your current workflow and how many items you list.
How accurate is the AI generation?
Accurate enough to be used in the creators' own resale workflow, but every listing should still be reviewed before posting. The goal is to eliminate repetitive research and data entry, not replace human judgment.
Do I have to change my current listing workflow?
Not significantly. You still photograph items the way you normally would, including tags, measurements, and flaws. Death Pile focuses on the listing creation portion of the workflow.
Which marketplaces does Death Pile work with?
Death Pile currently supports eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari through Vendoo. A Vendoo account is required to use Death Pile at this time.
What kinds of inventory work best with Death Pile?
Death Pile is built specifically for clothing, shoes, and accessories. It works best when items include physical tag information like brand, size, material, and style number, which helps Ghoulia generate accurate, marketplace-ready listings from your photos.
Is Death Pile for casual or full-time resellers?
Death Pile is built for experienced resellers who have more inventory than time to list it. Whether you sell part-time or full-time, it's designed for people who already know their workflow but are spending too much time on repetitive listing work and want to move inventory faster.
Will this help me work faster?
That is the primary goal. Death Pile handles much of the research and listing creation work so you can spend more time sourcing, photographing, shipping, organizing inventory, and making business decisions.
How does this compare to listing manually?
Manual listing means researching the item, writing copy, choosing categories, filling item specifics, and building each marketplace draft yourself. Death Pile gives you a generated draft from your photos and notes so your time goes into review and final decisions instead of blank-form data entry.
What do I still need to do?
You still handle the physical workflow and make the final decisions before posting:
- Photograph the item
- Photograph tags, measurements, and flaws
- Review generated listings
- Weigh items
- Bag and store inventory
- Ship sold items
- Make final decisions on listing accuracy and pricing
Is this better than hiring a VA?
A VA and Death Pile can both help with listings, but they work differently. A VA adds a human queue: you send items, wait for availability, review the work, and request revisions if needed. Death Pile removes that wait by generating a draft from your photos and notes right away, so you can move from photo to listing without depending on someone else's schedule or backlog.
What happens if my listing is wrong?
You review every listing before posting. Death Pile is designed to assist with research and data entry, and you can ask Ghoulia to rerun the listing when something needs to be corrected.
How long does it take to process an item?
Processing time can vary by item and photo set, but the workflow is built to generate listing drafts quickly after you upload photos and notes. You still review the draft before posting.
How much does it cost?
Death Pile is currently in beta. Join the waitlist and we'll share pricing details as access expands.
